The only class warfare that's been going on in the past 30 years is the 1% stealing this country from the rest of us. Witness Washington, D.C., where the "poor person's tax," payroll taxes, are going to go up because the party that says tax cuts pay for themselves and there isn't any kind of a bad tax cut refuses to extend a tax cut for us lowly types who don't have our own, personal financial planners. Meanwhile, they're demanding the permanency of the Bush tax cuts for the rich, still clinging to the idea that they 'pay for themselves.'

The fact of the matter is people like Sonia Chang-Diaz aren't fighting a class war. They're just trying to restore a little sanity into this country and give regular people a shot at being able to lift themselves up.

A local leader in the Middleboro Republican Town Committee has circulated an email soliciting volunteers to collect signatures on a petition to require 'voter ID.'

When I looked it up to read the wording, it seems that the Attorney General said No.

MassVote indicated that the AG said NO to any cost.

Ballotpedia is indicating that it is not a valid petition.

No, they're companies that have the right to exist, but I don't believe we should allow ourselves to be controlled by them, either. Furthermore, given the full faith and credit of the United States isn't just a slogan, I think we should take the gloves off on anyone who would dare challenge it, particularly companies that helped start the entire global recession to begin with -- and S&P is nearly as guilty as the banks they gave grossly exaggerated ratings to.
